For an effective registration we need a valid e-mail address. In order to verify that a registration is actually made by the owner of an e-mail address, we use the "double-opt-in" procedure. For this purpose, we log the ordering of the newsletter, the sending of a confirmation e-mail and the receipt of the answer requested hereby. Further data is not collected. The collection of additional features such as an electronic training number for events is optional, only in individual cases and only within the necessary organizational framework. The data will be used exclusively for sending the newsletter or for event organisation and will not be passed on to third parties.

Our events are accompanied by multimedia technology. By registering and participating, participants agree that the Center for Clinical Neuroscience (Multiple Sclerosis Center) may use photographic and film material taken before, during or after the event until revoked in both online and print format for purposes of press and public relations. Video documentations (stream recordings) will be made of the events (in excerpts), which will be made available to the participants after the event in selected cases. Active participation in the events is possible in text as well as in audio or video form. A personal use of own video and audio transmission is optional for participants, but not obligatory and deactivated on the transmission platform for all participants (except speakers) at the beginning of the event. At the beginning of the event, we inform about a recording. Text contributions such as chat contributions are not part of the recording. Consent to audio or video recording can be revoked at any time and a recording can be ended by switching off your own microphone or video.
Your data will be processed in accordance with the Basic Data Protection Regulation and will be used within the framework of our event organization. You agree to this use with your registration for the event.
To protect your data transmitted on our pages in the best possible way, we use SSL encryption. You can recognize such encrypted connections by the prefix "https://" in the page link in the address line of your browser. These websites encrypt information that is transferred between you and the site. Information that is exchanged between your browser and the website is therefore not accessible to third parties.

We embed YouTube videos on some of our websites. The operator of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection to YouTube servers is established. This tells Youtube which pages you are visiting. If you are logged into your Youtube account, Youtube can assign your surfing behavior to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your Youtube account beforehand.
The embedding of Youtube videos is done via https://www.youtube-nocookie.com, which only generates technically necessary Youtube cookies.
If a Youtube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behavior. If you have deactivated the saving of cookies for the Google Ad program, you will not have to deal with such cookies when watching Youtube videos. However, Youtube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you would like to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in the browser.
